Every request can be copied, as a trace, to your own monitoring tool: Langfuse, LangSmith, Datadog, an S3 bucket, a webhook and the rest of the destinations. You add a destination once; each request is sent there after it has been settled.

Every destination route is free and takes a management key. The openai SDK has no observability resource, so call the routes with fetch.

Add a destination#

A missing setting is a 400 naming it, such as config.secretKey is required for langfuse.

Tag your requests#

The user field and a session_id travel on the trace, and a destination's filter rules can select on them:
