Datadog

Datadog is a widely used infrastructure and application monitoring platform. Sending OpenDunes events to Datadog lets you build dashboards for token spend, model latency, error rates, and cost in DA — alongside the rest of your application telemetry.

What gets sent#

OpenDunes emits two types of data to Datadog:

• Metrics — opendunes.request.tokens.input, opendunes.request.tokens.output, opendunes.request.cost_micro_da, and opendunes.request.latency_ms — each tagged with model, api_key_id, and any custom tags you configure.
• Logs — the full request event as a structured JSON log entry, including messages, response content, and X-Request-Id.

Configuration#

Once available, configure the Datadog destination from your dashboard under Broadcast. You will need:

• API key — your Datadog API key
• Site — your Datadog site region (e.g. datadoghq.com, datadoghq.eu)
• Log source and service tags (optional, default opendunes)
