Grafana Cloud

Grafana Cloud combines Prometheus-compatible metrics (Mimir), log aggregation (Loki), and distributed tracing (Tempo) in one hosted platform. Routing OpenDunes events there lets you build Grafana dashboards for model usage, DA spend, latency, and errors without running your own observability stack.

What gets sent#

Depending on how you configure the destination, OpenDunes can forward:

• Metrics to Grafana Mimir via the Prometheus remote-write protocol — token counts, DA cost, latency, and request counts, labelled by model and API key.
• Logs to Grafana Loki as structured JSON log streams — full request/response payloads, X-Request-Id, and custom metadata.

Configuration#

Once available, configure the Grafana Cloud destination from your dashboard under Broadcast. You will need:

• Metrics remote-write URL — from your Grafana Cloud Prometheus data source
• Loki push URL — from your Grafana Cloud Loki data source
• Username / API token — a Grafana Cloud API key with MetricsPublisher and LogsPublisher scopes

You can enable metrics, logs, or both independently.
